This work explores the identity of a stranger by placing a South Korean parcel box within German landscapes. By projecting the artist’s own sense of inherent alienation and isolation onto the object of the parcel, the work captures the feeling of living in Germany yet remaining fundamentally out of place. The image of the box, sitting alone and unable to blend into its surroundings, symbolically represents the uncanny sensation of being a stranger who can never fully belong.
이 작업은 독일의 풍경 속에 놓인 한국의 소포 상자를 통해 이방인으로서의 정체성을 표현한 작품이다. 독일이라는 환경에 적응해 살아가면서도 문득 마주하게 되는 본질적인 이질감과 소외감을 소포라는 오브제에 투영했다. 풍경과 섞이지 못한 채 덩그러니 놓인 상자의 모습은, 어디에도 온전히 속하지 못하는 이방인의 낯선 감각을 상징적으로 보여준다.
